The Grandest of Christmas Parties for 2021
After a year’s hiatus, one of the most sought after festive events in Birmingham is back - and tickets are now on sale.
Plans are gliding forward for the Birmingham Publicity Association’s ‘Grandest of Christmasses’ event which is set to thrill, delight and surprise all guests more than ever before.
The popular lunch will be held on Friday, 3rd December at the freshly opened Grand Hotel based on Colmore Row and will be one of the venue's first festivities, which is why the BPA are planning on making this the most glitzy of dates in the calendar.
Following last year’s Covid restrictions, the 2021 event is expected to be a sellout. Early Bird tickets are available until Saturday, 31st July for BPA members only, costing £995 for a table of 10.
Mark McDonagh, chair of the BPA said: “The Christmas event is the pinnacle of our calendar of annual events and has been so for many years, so following last years’ hiatus this one is expected to be extra popular.
“As ever, and along with being great fun for all, we shall also be raising money for our chosen charity, Acorns Children’s Hospice. In 2019 we donated £10,000 to the cause and although last year we weren’t able to host any networking events we donated a further £5,000 followed by £2,500 following our festive advent calendar activity. We are hopeful to be able to donate a similar amount this Christmas as we come to an end of our partnership with them. It’s always fantastic to be able to raise such a great amount of money, so the more tickets we sell, the more we can donate, so we are urging people to dig deep.”
The Christmas event, which will be sponsored for the 8th year running by Elonex, is expected to attract over 200 guests from across Birmingham and beyond. Tickets include a welcome drink, three-course Christmas lunch, plus entertainment. There is also an invite to the legendary after-party at an exclusive city-centre venue. The price of the non-Early Bird tickets cost £1,100 for a table of 10 (£1,200 for non-members) or £115 for an individual ticket (£125 for non-members).
