The Birmingham Publicity Association’s Christmas lunch close to sell-out

Tickets have been sold in record time for the ‘Grandest of Christmasses’  event which is set to thrill, delight and surprise all guests better than ever before.

There are under two months to go before the legendary lunch, held on Friday, 3rd December at the freshly opened Grand Hotel located on Colmore Row, launches for the first time in two years, and it promises to be one of the most glitzy dates in the calendar.

Following last year’s Covid restrictions, the 2021 event is expected to be a sellout and demand has been high.

Mark McDonagh, chair of the BPA said: “We are just thrilled that we have had such interest in the tickets and we only have a few spaces left before we are fully booked for this years’ event.

“As ever, and along with being great fun for all we shall also be raising money for our chosen charity, Acorns Children’s Hospice. In 2019 we donated £10,000 to the cause and although last year we weren’t able to host any networking events we still donated £7,500, following our festive advent calendar activity. We are hopeful to be able to donate a substantial amount this Christmas as we come to an end of our partnership with them. It’s always fantastic to be able to raise such a great amount of money, so the more tickets we sell, the more we can donate, so we are urging people to dig deep.”

The Christmas event, which will be sponsored for the 8th year running by Elonex, is expected to attract over 250 guests from across Birmingham and beyond. Tickets include a welcome drink, three-course Christmas lunch, plus entertainment. There is also an invite to the legendary after-party at a city-centre venue.
