Hi I’m Selena, my current role is Controller – Sky AdSmart Midlands and East of England.

I was delighted to be approached in 2017 to be president of the BPA as this organisation is one that I passionately believe plays an integral part in the lifeblood of the advertising, creative, digital and marketing industries in Birmingham. I have spent most of my media career on the BPA council in some way since I was first voted on council back in 2004, firstly as charity lead and then Vice-Chair from 2007-2008, and Chair from 2009 to 2011.

I have a BA Honours in Media and Cultural Studies and since graduating in 2000, I worked firstly in PR before arriving at Global (formally Chrysalis Radio) back in 2002 before taking up my current position at Sky.

I am excited by the direction the BPA is heading and by the talent energy and commitment of the people involved.
