Birmingham Publicity Association Spring Soirée Smashes Attendance Records

The Birmingham Publicity Association’s Spring Soirée Lunch was the hottest ticket in town as face-to-face networking made a triumphant return for the city's media, marketing and advertising elite.

The sold-out event held last month (April) at Bank Restaurant in Brindleyplace saw a staggering 30% increase in ticket sales year-on-year.

BPA Co-chair Steve Price called it "a fantastic return" that proved in-person connections remain "alive, well and valuable" in 2024.

Steve said: "A 30% increase in ticket sales year-on-year, £1,000 raised on the day for Winston's Wish and some brilliant media-centric TikTok knowledge dropped by our guest Oli Hills from Nonsensical made it a Spring lunch to remember.”

Social media marketing guru Oli Hills delivered an insightful keynote on leveraging TikTok for business success.

Hot on the heels of this triumph, the BPA has announced its annual Summer Quiz Night will take place on Thursday June 27 from 6pm at Birdies Bar in Digbeth's Custard Factory.

Brummie knowledge will be put to the test as teams of four compete for cash prizes across rounds on local trivia, music, inventions, anagrams and more.

Entry costs £130 for BPA members and £140 for non-members. With quizmaster duties reportedly being fiercely contested, this looks set to be an unmissable evening celebrating Birmingham's rich heritage and marketing prowess.
