BPA Spring Lunch ‘Banking’ on Success

The BPA hosts popular Spring Lunch at Bank, Brindleyplace

Birmingham’s best networking group for the advertising, media and marketing, The BPA, is serving its first event of the year with its Spring Lunch being held at the iconic restaurant, Bank Birmingham.

The BPA are launching one of their first of a number of fundraising events planned for this year by at the recently refurbished restaurant which will feature a tasty Brasserie-style lunch teamed with drinks on the terrace.

Tickets are expected to sell fast for the lunch on Friday 21st April at noon, which will include a three-course meal, with choices also available for vegetarians and vegans, along with carnivores alike.

The afternoon will be a chance for everyone to network with the very best the city has to offer within the advertising, media and marketing industries from in and around the city.

Steve Price, Interim Co-Chair said they were looking forward to formally welcoming in Spring with the first networking event run by the BPA of 2023.

“There are big changes ahead for the BPA and we have a new Leadership Team who in place are ready to meet many of our regulars who we see at these events - as well as attracting their own fresh crowd, so this event will be really interesting. We look forward to seeing faces old and new but also, and importantly, raise some much needed funds for our chosen charity, Winston’s Wish,” he said.

The BPA aims to unite those working in the advertising, media and marketing industries across the West Midlands and is a great way to network and have fun at the same time - along with raising thousands of pounds for charity.

The BPA has existed since the 1930s and brings people in media, marketing and advertising together in a social setting, champions the city of Birmingham, and supports deserving local charities. Its members include global organisations to sole traders, graduate trainees right up to CEOs and MDs, media owners and agencies, advertising and marketing agencies, digital agencies, PR agencies and freelancers.

The group’s chosen charity for the next year continues to be Winston’s Wish, a charity which supports children and young people after the death of someone close to them.

Guests are asked to arrive for noon for drinks and networking before everyone sits down to eat. Tickets cost £35 for members, and £40 for non-members.
