A message from our Chair

Dear members,

I hope you are well. I’m proud to say the BPA’s membership represents the full cross section of creative, media and advertising sector of Greater Birmingham.

These are challenging times for everyone, but particularly our freelance community, so if you are in a position at an organisation where you can use their skills and talents over the next few weeks please drop them a note or pick up the phone, they will appreciate the support. It will also be a tough time for our charity partner Acorns Children's Hospice and we are looking into additional ways in which we can help them over the coming weeks and months.

Our event programme for the next few month is obviously on hold until we have a better idea of the landscape. Our Spring lunch is postponed, but Gaucho Birmingham have been brilliant in enabling us to postpone until a more suitable date.

The AGM will go ahead and we are currently looking at which video conferencing platform best suits our need. More to follow on that. Finally, as like me, most of you are no doubt working from home we’ve got some great advice here.

Stay safe and see you all very soon.
